Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi,
i would like a little advice if you can. i have an iphone 4s and am trying to sync my photos, but having some issues.
i have a series of folders on the PC, and the photos sync from the phone, but not into the correct folders, and some on the camera roll, not at all!
are there some rules that the phone/itunes is applying, that maybe i'm not setting up correctly?
in the itunes setup, when the phone is connected, i've chosen to sync the photos on the phone with the folder my pictures, but to no avail, still missing photos and incorrect syncing.

any ideas, all help gratefully received!1

Firstly, The Camera Roll doesn't sync with iTunes.

    Secondly:

In iTunes, in the iPhone section, in the Photos page - you have 'Selected Folders' ticked ?

If so .. then the selected folders on your computer will sync with a folders 'of that name' on your iPhone in the Albums section.

So if you have only one folder in the Folders box on that page in iTunes, called "My Pictures" , then a folder also called "My Pictures" will appear in your albums section on your iPhone - with the same photos.

Move your photo to your PC using "Scotty" or "Photo Transfer App". I prefer the latter. (you can always email to yourself as an alternative)

Then move them to the folder you want on your PC. They will then sync back to the correct folder.

I know people who use Dropbox, set it up on the phone & pc, drop them into Dropbox on the phone then they will download on the pc (or anywhere with your dropbox installed). Not ideal if you have loads obviously but for only a few should work fine! Just do it over wifi.. :)

Why bother downloading anything else. When you connect the iPhone to USB you can browse the photos the same way you would on a digital camera

I don't like iPhoto and just want to transfer over the photos I took today. These apps are much simpler.

I presume you are using a mac if you're using iPhoto but on a windows pc it's easy. Click iPhone in my computer, one or two folders to click into and then select everything and copy it to whatever folder you want
