Started loads of others but never finished for whatever reason. Almost done with Mafia II, keep dieing on the second last chapter so hopefully will add that to the list before the end of the year.

    First time:
GTA IV (a little late here :pac:)
    GTA TBOGT
    GTA TLAD
    Red Dead Redemption
    LA Noire

    Repeat finishes:
    GTA III
    GTA Vice City
    GTA San Andreas

Had a bit of a GTA kick earlier in the year. :D

Quite a good year for me, despite the fact I'm busy enough in work and have a pretty active social life. Probably play on average 8 hours a week. All on PC, core games and no DLCs as yet:

    - Skyrim (started in late 2011)
    - Deus Ex HR
    - Batman Arkham City
    - Trine 2
    - Sonic Generations
    - Bastion
    - Dawn of War II
    - Rochard
    - Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
    - Costume Quest
    - And Yet It Moves

    Metal Gear Solid 2

    PC:
    Skyrim
    Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3
    Borderlands 2
    GTA:TLAD
    And Yet It Moves
    Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers
    Terraria

I really need to play more games. Planning the annual play-through of Fable 1 soon, will probably have that finished the day after starting. May not bother though.

Just finished Etrian Odyssey, superb game. Also forgot to mention finally beating Revenge of Shinobi after nearly 25 years.

sorry but how exactly does one beat a sports game? A few people putting in Pes or fifa (and NHL2k8, wtf?) as completed.

I mentioned that in the OP. If you've played enough of a sports game for example that you think you have had value for money then I would consider it completed. For instance in PES I would have beaten the Master League and all the Cup competitions within that i.e. Europa League and Champions League. Also beaten some other competition modes. I think after that you can consider it complete.

I can add Max Payne 3 to my list. It was okay. The cinematic scenes were far more interesting than the actual gameplay.
Ratchet and Clank: A Crank in Time

Amazing game. Probably the best platformer of this generation.

    Little late but here goes...

    PC

Portal - PC is ancient :o

    PS3

    Dragon Age 2
    Portal 2
    Rage
    Episodes from Liberty City
    Uncharted 2
    Uncharted 3
    Mass Effect 3
    Kingdoms of Amalur:Reckoning
    Limbo
    Saints Row 2
    Saints Row: The Third
    Journey
    XCOM: Enemy Unknown

    DS
    Chrono Trigger - nearly there

Started a fair few others too that I couldn't get into. Had me some fun times gaming in 2012 though, probably my biggest year to date :) Any attempts to stretch it further will likely end in divorce.
