really quick question regarding Copy + and switching sky boxes

    So have a normal sky plus box and used copy + to back up shows to an .xtv file

    I have a sky+ HD box that i want to copy them to.

    If i restore the .xtv file when i have sky+ box attached does it load them ok? will it wipe everything else?

    The viewing card i have is the same the only thing thats changed is box and HDD.

    Need to give other sky box to my ma so any type of quick answer would be greatly appreciated!

    It will only copy a complete image so you will definitely loose everything that is on the HD box.

    I have used it a few times to move stuff between hard drives but never tried what you are attempting, it should work though.
