    Used to be a big Lostprophets fan. Still like a few of their tunes.

    If the allegations are true, that's pretty sick and he should go to jail for a longgg time and get a lot of counseling and psychoevaluations etc.

    I still think the media is fabricating the truth on this to make outrageous and exciting headlines. I'd rather see what evidence the courts cough up.

    the media?? This has being doing rumors for months. Wheres his statements declaring his innocence. The papers will be sued for everything they have and wouldn't invent the headlines.

    Rumours for months? I've only heard about it in the last 2 weeks.

    I'm NOT saying that the media has made it all up, but I never trust them to tell a fair sided story in one as controversial as this. And you're right, I still haven't heard a word from Ian Watkins about this. Maybe his lawyers don't want him to make a statement yet. I'm not defending the guy at all, I just prefer to see what his defense is in court and what evidence they have against him before I label him a pedophile.

    Ian Watkins, the frontman of Welsh rockers Lostprophets, has once again been denied bail after being arrested for various charges of child sex offences.

    Watkins, who was arrested back in December, has been refused bail once already during his case, and has been forced to appear at courts via a video link each time he’s been due to attend. He has been held in Parc Prison in Bridgend since his arrest (alongside two females ages 20 and 24 held for similar offences), and it looks like he’ll be staying there until at least his next court date, which will take place on March 11th.

    As well as conspiring to rape a one year-old child, Watkins has been charged with conspiring to abuse two young children, as well as producing, possessing, and distributing indecent images of children - and even possessing extreme animal pornography.

    As screwed up as what Tripp Eisen did it's a long way from the depraved acts that Ian Watkins is accused of doin.

    Watkins is accused of raping a baby, Tripp Eisen served time for rape and kidknapping of a 15 year old girl after he pleaded guilty although there was meant to be more instances.

    In a post on their Facebook page, the remaining members of the band announced that they would be drawing a line under their time as Lostprophets. They wrote:
    To our fans:

    After nearly a year of coming to terms with our heartache, we finally feel ready to announce publicly what we have thought privately for some time. We can no longer continue making or performing music as Lostprophets. Your love and support over the past 15 years has been tremendous, and we'll be forever grateful for all you've given us. As we look forward to the next phase of our lives, we can only hope to be surrounded by people as devoted and inspiring as you guys have been.

    Pretty understandable. I hope whatever the guys do in the future isn't tarnished by the association to Lost Prophets and the singer. Whatever people opinion of their music, it's definitely a crap reality that it's likely to harm their future careers even a little

    After hearing legal argument from barristers, Mr Justice Royce called the jury into court and told them: "There will not be a trial in this case. The defendants have all pleaded guilty to nearly all the charges against them. The prosecution does not seek a trial in these circumstances.

    "You have been saved from having to watch extremely graphic and distressing material."

    Looks like it's all wrapped up bar the sentencing. Must have been pretty bad. Insane stuff.

    Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

    Watkins should never be released into society again. Hope that he ends up living out a very long life behind bars, and that he suffers for every day of it.

    Oh he's gonna suffer alright, remember that other sicko Ian Huntley, he was in a segregated wing, one time, just one fcukin time there was an error and he was put in gen pop, his face was slashed within hours :D:D:D

    You really have to feel sorry for the rest of the band. Their legacy as musicians is going to be forever tarnished by this and I imagine that financially they are really going to suffer. Even worse must be facing people, such as those that posted in this thread stating that they had to know about what their friend was up to

    To be fair when fans on the internet are gossiping about his deviant behaviour before he was ever arrested it's hard not to believe they didn't know anything about the kind of guy he is.
