    Hello

Just wondering if anyone knows if there are any plans for a coderdojo class to start in Donegal. This is a computer programming mentoring class for young people developed by a guy in cork. The classes are free and fill a gap that is been mostly ignored in primary and secondary school on developing computer skills. Link below for info, Would be interested if there were any classes planned in the Letterkenny area

There's a few of us have been running the Coder Dojo in Cara House (Market Square, Letterkenny) since mid-summer.

We currently have about 60 kids, aged between 8 and 18 that come along on Saturdays (11:00 - 14:00).

We've covered Python, Scratch and HTML so far, along with a few special classes on computer hardware.

We're on a break now, until the national schools start back in January, but if you contact Cara House in the new year (074 9123986), they will provide you with all the details you need to sign up.

Also, for any 'computer' people out there reading this... We are always looking for more volunteers to help out. We have different skill levels and backgrounds, so don't be worried as some of us learned Python and Scratch while teaching it!
