Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can I delete or hide superuser without losing my unlock?

Can I remove superuser from my phone? Or even hide it's presence on the app shelf or in the applications menu ? I have to get a hardware related issue fixed on my phone while its still under warranty and I'm pretty sure that having superuser installed wont go down too well. I don't think they'll look too closely as it is an obvious hardware issue but I'd rather superuser not being there staring up from the app shelf if possible.

Is it just a case of a simple delete app process or would removing it also remove my root and unlock ? If it's not a simple couple of clicks what do I do ? Help!:o

Reset your phone to stock, there should be an option to restore your phone to factory settings. Rooting etc can be done again after you get it back.

Manufacturers can and will use any excuse.

You can do a backup of everything with CWM and then restore it to stock, send it back and root again and restore backup afterwards.

    not that difficult to do.

Use a launcher like Nova or Go that allows you to hide applications from the list.

Thanks very much for the replies guys. I think I'd have gone with yours pickarooney but as it happened the whole phone decided to give up the ghost last night so I havent had a chance to do anything about superuser etc. Just have to hope the retail assistants don't breath life back into it now unless it is to fix the entire problem. It is a genuine hardware problem so hopefully it'll go ok.
