Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,
Anyone here buy anything from bikergear.ie, in Louth?

I've ordered some stuff from them as a christmas present, and despite several reassurances from them, the stuff still has not arrived.

It's now over 30 days since i ordered the kit, and it's still showing as 'in stock' on the website.

If they are legit, i don't mind waiting and getting the present a few days after christmas, but if they are dodgy, i need to know now so i can start a paypal dispute.

So, any experiences good or bad?

Hmmm, never heard of them myself. Why not call Ronan Pentony Motorcycles (RPM) in Drogheda and ask them have they heard of them, if people have ordered off them and got "stung" so to speak I bet they have heard of it. They are based in the Hill Of Rath.

They had a thread on biker back in 2008 but they havent post anything since from what i see.

A whois shows its run by a lad named Dick Raftery.
Im sure a bit more detective work could be done but sure im lazy, lol

Just had a look at the site and alarm bells started ringing with the location of the shop "Longford, Ireland" !!! Sure everyone knows Longford doesn't exist, it was made up to scare children.

Have heard of them alright, but never had any dealings with them, nor do I know anyone who did. Is there a number you can call? Do they have an address you can call to?

yep, all sorted - the parcel arrived today.
They were trying to deliver to the billing address, not the delivery address.

All's good in the hood again!
