    I remember Pecker playing outside Woolworth's in Waterford back in the sixties and later spoke to him as I was passing over the bridge heading to Semple in Thurles. I often wondered did the people passing by who would throw a few bob in the box realize the true legend that Pecker was.

    Often saw him playing around Skibbereen and he was magic. To be honest, I thought that he had died some years ago though
