Road closed between roundabouts

    Going East from the Bandon Roundabout to the Sarsfield roundabout this evening. Loads of police there diverting everyone through Hawke's road.

    Anyone know what happened?

    Shocking news RIP. I use that stretch of road quite a bit and there are frequently pedestrians cutting across the lanes of traffic so sadly i'm not surprised. Also up at the dual carriageway by the cuh this is going on so likely to happen there as well.

    Sad news.

    The place is a nightmare now for pedestrians though. Very confusing layout if your not use to it.

    I was going to Bishopstown Court and the hearse was coming down with a motor cycle escort about 21.00, really sad for some poor family. RIP
