    Will An Post deliver mail tomorrow, Saturday, and on Christmas Eve?

    I'm not sure about Saturday but they do deliver on Christmas Eve! Unfortunately I've ordered stuff to my office, which will be closed, here's hoping the security guard takes it for me!

    My local postie is working saturday and monday. Sunday delivery cancelled this year as wont pay the overtime.

    Tuesday December 25 No collections or deliveries of mail
    Wednesday December 26 No collections or deliveries of mail
    Thursday December 27 No collections or deliveries of mail
    Friday December 28 Normal mails service
    Saturday December 29 No collections or deliveries of mail

    I hope the delivery arrives for you Dolbert
    No need for the sarcasm, Paddy. 'Normal mails service' is ambiguous, as in- normally there's no mail service on Saturday.

    Its not sarcasm at all.....

    It is just a simple fact/reply of how wonderfull and quick google is....for matters like postal services and dates for postal services.

    According to the link given above - there are no mail deliveries or collections on the 27th. I'm assuming that's general post (as I believe business post is delivered/collected on that date).

    No cards and letters, but the stamp was not franked, so i think it was held due to insufficient postage .
