Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In the long run it really makes more sense to put a bit extra money in and get the nexus.

The tesco ones are like every other sub 100e tablet, cheap and pretty much awful.

PCWorld sell them for about €250.
As already said, it's well worth spending the extra bit of cash on it, as it's much better.

Nexus isn't the only tablet. Also consider the Samsung Tab 2 amongst others. Reduced on the likes of Amazon and Argos plus cash back from Samsung.

The Nexus is a great gaming device with a great screen. However it's not perfect and is (IMHO) let down in some areas e.g. sd card slot and hdmi out. Also although Nexus devices are first to get the newest versions of Android, other manufactures add additional functionality on top and therefore you may get superior functionality over stock Android.

I agree on the cheaper Android devices. The cheaper ones will only bring headaches like less stable systems, inferior battery life, inferior community support etc.
