Just flicked over - have we not seen all this before ?

    1) David Blaine
    2) Dynamo

Was impressive when I first seen it would be nearly 20 years for Blaine. - But sick of these lads .

Lads we know there is no magic - lol.

    Then his "friends"

Then holding a blanket up - lol.

There was a trick he was doing with a coin , my bloody brother was doing 20 years ago. Anyway - sick of them - mister cynical tonight.

    Look at this rubbish.

I am a rugby fanatic but really think you can't compare rugby to golf/soccer/athlethics as it is a minority sport really only played at the top level in about 10 countries.

There have been and will be a lot of great Irish Sports People, but the BOD is a class act in the way he conducts himself, similar to Padraig Harrington one might say. Is he our greatest sportsman ever, I don't know, anyone on here cannot be a judge as none of us(I am guessing) ever saw the great Christy Ring in action or Ronnie Delaney. Even it is hard to say if he is our best ever rugby player, Jack Kyle, Mike Gibson come to mind and thats only from what I have read.

We shall let history decide, but what he has done is re-written the record books. For his sake and also for the likes of Darcy, Best and O Connell I hope that we get this championship on Saturday, because if not Joe Schmidt will have risked 5 out 13/14 matches before the world cup not blooding new players!

Some of ye should get a kick out of this:

Cleaning out the pond yesterday and found about 60 Frogs in it, took all the frongs out cleaned it abit. Then i drove 30secs up the road and threw the frogs into the river, felt good after returning them to a safer place.

Returned home to find the pond in sh#te, the 2 dogs had ripped it apart and took up all the lining, just concrete left now, absolutely freaked, just finished cleaning up the mess now,

The money i now have to pay to redo the lining in the pond and take up the slabs to put the lining back under it,

I would put up a picture but it will break me again. :( haha

I'd have been making a journey back to that river... with 2 dogs, some lining and a slab or two to make sure they sink....

    Only messing, unlucky Dossy.

George hook reckons they were the equivalent of a 2foot putt.

Played "par 3" this morning (really pitch and putt at the burrow http://www.theburrowgolfcourse.com/) and scored my first ever hole-in-one on the third. Now hope to do it on a golf course down the line :)

Utd were abject yesterday. Moyes is afraid to do what he thinks he needs to I reckon. If he threw felliani in behind the striker and lofted balls into his chest and got others in around him the pool cbs would have had a much tougher day.

Not the utd way he thinks I'd say but then neither is losing like that.

Funny PARlance- has been an unbelievable poor run since 1989-1990. It is actually hard to write that - that is nearly 25 years - jaysus - Ronnie Whelan was playing for pool then. The only real relief was 2005 - and that was a freak. They should have won a league with the Spanish team of 2008 - 2009.

    Has been hard -

So back to the difference - is it, that the top lad is staying and the rest are leaving a sinking ship ?

Joking - it will be a short lived dip for united - they are too wealthy and big now to fall. Timing can play a big part in sport, and United when they started winning in the early 90s - soccer was transformed. The money that came into the game at that time was a total step change. United were clever in their modernisation with the stadium and becoming a commercial entity. If you look at stadium capacities - even that alone shows how the initial drift in size from then has never been recovered.

I just put that up yesterday after I watched match again - I was just so shocked that a United team at home could lack any sort of passion for that game. No matter how poor Liverpool were at times - even the spice boy team - everybody was able to rise their game - for what is the biggest game in English Football.

I was actually - hard to believe, a little bid saddened for Moyes.

That was the hardest game to watch this season, no pace, no creativity no urgency on the ball. Van Persie looked like he had no interest mata been played out of position. The only way is up after that performance tho, it can't get any worse surely!

    It can.

Liverpool didn't even pay that well.

If they played like that against City - it would be 0 - 6.

Ah --- only a bit of banter - Pool fans have had to face it for long enough. I'm sure the United fans wouldn't mind us having our little bit of banter - sure pool are insignificant to the big lads really.

It is interesting - I do actually feel sorry for Moyes at weak moments. But - it is the Ferguson in the stands (who needs to go) - is the real odd thing to watch.

Odd - is the nicest way I could put it. :D

I'd say they will be up for this one but.

Would never ever feel sorry for The Mancs.... They've had it good for far too long.

Too much too little too late for them now lol

Maybe we should stick to golf.

You'll end up disliking some of the great golfers on here you have respect for :p

Not that winners need to be likeable characters , but the socialist Sir Alex - certainly wasn't.

Moyes - is not a bad fella.

Sadly for Moyes - times have changed - once the tide turns against you now , you will not be given time - social media and Sky News turn it into a circus. If he loses tonight he is gone. He is gone anyway.

Like a new team - this is the passion you expect from an at home United team - still look wonky at back.

But united can score 4 here.

Hope not, ideal scenario is Olympiakos score.
