I did watch it and now know UFC is not for me. :)

Give me a good boxing fight any day.
(The only problem is that they are nearly non existent now)

I've no problem with the aspect of them knocking lumps out of each other, I just find it a bit boring.
It's all or nothing from what I can see (I've watched 20 or so fights).
    90% "nothing" and 10% "all".
And when the "all" does happen, it's generally all over shortly after.

They have grasped the void filled by boxings decline though and kudos to the business men behind it.
And fair play to McGregor too, he's seen the opportunity and he's playing the role of the showman superbly. Hopefully it'll make him a small fortune.

I find something weird about watching a guy pound elbows I to someone's face while they lay on the ground. They then get knocked out and take 2-3 full on defenceless smashes to the face before the ref stops it.

I think they are all juicers too to be honest.

Well... When you put it like that :)

Ah no, I've no problem with it really. Defenceless smashes shouldn't be allowed I agree, but I think you could probably argue that boxers take more punishment (longer fights, UFC can be ended in submission moves etc) and boxing seems to be accepted by the masses.

There's very little action from what I see once they stop hugging and rolling around :)
The action is violent when it happens but it's probably only 2-3 minutes of it, 30mins in a boxing ring getting head blows (possibly being knocked out a few times along the way) is worse in my eyes and I'll happily watch that.

Would you be a boxing fan?

For the record, I much prefer(ed) amateur boxing (I believe they've dropped the head guards now) as it's more skilful / less damaging. I'm not watching it for the violence, I think there's a lot of skill involved.

I thought they were giving each other love bites at one stage... either that or it looked like they were doing a Mike Tyson / Louis Suarez and chewing each others ear!

Holy sh1t, I just checked the time sheet for today and noticed Peter Griffin is down to play in the group ahead of me, how the hell will I concentrate now. Should I ask for his autograph before or after the round.

I dont watch any thing that has two sweaty men rolling on top of each other, each trying for a rear, naked choke.

I better get in before you start jumping for joy. Here is a good laugh for you, i'll take this one on the chin. I really can't believe though that Liverpool has never ever won this competition!!

Tbh United weren't impressive against liverpool the other night. Some of the passing around the back 3 was dreadful. Liverpool with Sturridge would've punished us
