That's mental, and its only a loan deal for this year as well.

He has had an injury. So not risking full buy yet I guess.

Fine player . But is 28 didn't play in world cup has won a few cups .

sure to get a hatrick next game. (Lol).

Money is just mental. But market rules. I guess United are only spending what they can ?
What profit had they last year ?
    The TV money is incredible.

What United have spent this summer will be covered by two years of the adidas deal alone. That doesn't include any of the other commercial cash coming in. Liverpool have only spent 30M less or something?

Another important factor is the interest payments are now down to 20M a year from a high of 300M.

They are well within the rules of FFP.

Also I'm not sure where this figure of 346K a week came from (The Sun?) but I seriously doubt that's the case.

Not a chance he is on 350k a week. Not having it!!!

Earning 100k more than Rooney who is the highest paid player and remember falcao is coming off a serious injury so still needs to prove he has that explosive X factor.

The media were reporting stupid figures in terms of this transfer.

Simple fact of the matter is UTD have done exceptional business in terms of the quality they brought in. Top of the pile world class talent brought in even without CL football.

It will be a long long time yet before anyone can write Man Utd off in terms of being main players.

It may take a good few months for van gaal to settle this team down and get them all pulling in the right direction. They may miss CL this season with this transition but I'd expect in Jan they bring in another big player and again in the summer and then next year they will be back challenging for the title and not just chasing the CL 4th spot

United brought in some top class players in fairness but they over paid for all of them especially Rojo who has had a good World Cup campaign and very average club form. They haven't really addressed the lack of pace behind the froward line either. They need to do a lot more to start challenging IMO.

    Little and large?
    Simon and garfunkel?
    Ike & Tina?
    Sonny and Cher?

    Your choice!

Could Giles look any more uncomfortable??!!

Cringe-worthy alright, but fair play to the two lads for doing it in the first place and a great, gutsy move by Cadburys...

Certainly paying off for Cadburys, someone in Marketing should be in for a nice bonus.

Totally gone off Keane the last few months. Constant smack talk out of him.

If an Irish manager or assistant manager was promoting book launches and talking non stop I the media the week of a game while Keane was in an Irish shirt his head would have exploded.

Promoting the Keane brand constantly now and it's got very boring for me.
