Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is as poor as I've seen Rooney all season. Vidic is a yard off the pace as well, doesn't help that Swansea are as pacey as they are

Typical United, in that we were doing well when we scored and then seemed to fall asleep, letting them back into the game.

Swansea are a much improved team since they changed manager. They play with more purpose and less sideways passing just to keep possession

Valencia needs a Red Bull. He's always a second or two behind the play and Ben Davies has him well and truly whipped. Whenever he gets the ball now he's like a deer in the headlights.

Liverpool dodged a bullet there :D

Nowhere for the bullets to hit after being riddled by 35 million Andy Carroll bullets.

Just seeing replay again Evra should have went with De Guzman for their goal .

I think Michu has changed them. He offers them a focal point and an out ball. They defend in numbers too and get forward well. Very disciplined.

Good to see the lads on SS pointing out Evra's mistake for that goal. It wasn't entirely his fault, but he could have prevented it had he been more awake in defence.

I tip my hat to you for that response, brilliant.;)

Phil Jones is 20. Writing him off now is retarded in the extreme.
Jonny Evans was a nothing player to a lot of people when he was 23.

He's already put in some brilliant performances, consistency will come with experience.

Fairly sure they're just having a laugh. Most of them were **** themselves bloody over Andre Wisdom during the summer and he's only a year younger than Jones and miles behind in his development.

    Jones is fantastic.

He's been out with a long injury and after only 1 or 2 appearances he's been putting in some great performances. I think Pool fans have just forgotten what it's like to see a good player.

It's worrying how many players are off-colour for United. I always worry in particular when Rooney doesn't seem to be at the races. Valencia is going through a rough patch, and has been poor again today. RVP has been bright at least.

jones will be v good in time, i dont think he has played 5 games in a row, let alone even in the same position, when he is 24- 32 he will be a serious center back once he learns his trade a bit more

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,465 ✭✭✭supersean1999

this games needs hernandez to run his hole off up front, and stop them starting from the back,

    Rooney frustrating today

Jones will end up like John O'Shea imo, played in loads of diff positions so he never gets good at any one role and will ultimately end up as an average player playing in a good team.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

Every time we get in a good position, the decisive piece of play is left to Rooney and Valencia - our two most out of form players today.

Rooney is wasting a serious amount of chances!

He had RVP free in acres of space, had he squared the ball to him there was a shot on goal on.

Swansea have been getting tight like that all day. Hopefully Oliver wakes up to it.

    Chica 11/2 to score next.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

The right choice. At least Rooney is trying to make the right passes. His ideas are right but his execution has been poor. Valencia has been a passenger.

    How was that a corner?

    How was that a corner?

Meh, we should have had a corner in the first half when Rooney had a shot that was clearly deflected.

Embarrassing from that Swansea player there. No way did that hurt him that much.

Really, have you got the numbers? Haven't watched much of Liverpool.
