Just caught this lad in trap. Photos are close ups. He measures 3ins long with a 3 in tail also

Photos not showing up for me, but 6" nose to tail sounds too big for a mouse.

Can't see the pictures either, but 3" body and 3" tail is most likely a mouse. While not impossible, rats are not that common in houses.
