Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone else think there a little pass down the left side of the wall to Hazard there?

He had at least 8 yards of space.

    Instead of scoring?!

I know he scored but for Villato leave him free, I thought here was a very easy pass on,

This Bannan and Westwood combination needs to be nipped in the bud, much too soft against most teams theyve played this season.

No point posting that though if he just scored.

I'll go for 5-0, Torres and Mata with the next two.

It'll be 4 by half times.

Not watching, is there much sign of chanting/banners etc for the previous manager or are the faithful now starting to accept Benitez?

The Di matteo chant at 16mins was still evident but not as much as previous games.

I suppose the performance so far and potential result has stopped people complaining and it is about time they get behind Rafa IMO.

They actually start the chant at 16.01 which is technically the 17th minute. Someone needs to have a word ;)

Lambert should spend the 15 mins explaining the offside rule to Benteke

Chelsea look very well organised. Rafa has them well drilled,
Hazard has been slightly disappointing for me

Reclaimed 3rd place, 2 points clear and STILL a game in hand.
    Looking good

Two cracking finishes from Torres and Luiz and a nice bit of poaching by Ivanovic. Very good performance overall, their midfield has been overwhelmed, we've made their back line adjust their shape to cover in wide areas, Hazard and Moses have carried the ball well and Mata is orchestrating it all quite comfortably in the middle. Exactly the kind of game we needed going into this busy period.

Moses has looked dangerous enough but both Mata and Hazsrd have been on the edge of the game so far.

Great stuff from Chelsea, hopefully another early goal and truly kill off the game so we can get a few of the younger lads on.

Please Benitez at least give one of them a run out instead of Ferrera.

Mata and Hazard both quiet. Think it's a case of fatigue.

    Ferriera on after 55mins :pac:

I think Azp has played ok, whipped in a good ball for Torres header.

What a hit, going off for Ramirez

Villa are shockingly bad to be fair, should be 8 - 0

Smashing goal by Lampard in fairness, great technique.

    Chelsea 4-0 Guzan

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

This could be 6 or 7 if we were more clinical. Guzans made good saves but his distribution at times has been poor.

Another goal for Torres that started the goal fest.
