    Argos one is half the size. Also works out cheaper per litre.

    Reviews on Argos site suggest their product is ceramic, whereas
    he aldi one is cast iron

    Am I right to think cast iron is better quality?

    I'm looking for a large pot that I can use to make a casserole for 2-4 people with enough left to freeze the same amount

    The Aldi one is the better one but I don't think it'd would be big enough for 8 portions - you'd need a 8L one for that amount.

    I'll have a look tomorrow and compare it to my current pots and pans :)

    I've one pot I consider small that does 6 portions at the moment.

    That said, I've a 16l pot for soup etc
