Just wondering what sci-fi/fantasy related items, if any, you got this Christmas?

Being a little difficult to buy for at times, people purged my To-Read list which is full of fantasy and sci-fi novels. I ended up with:

    "The Technician" by Neal Asher
"The Cold Commands" by Richard Morgan (Book 2 of 3)
"The Way of Kings" by Brandon Anderson (Book 1 of 10!)
"Dragon Haven" by Robin Hobb (Book 2 of 4)
"Dining with the Doctor: The Unauthorised Doctor Who Cookbook" by Chris-Rachael Oseland
"The Angel's Kiss: A Melody Malone Mystery" by Justin Richards
"The Fractal Prince" by Hannu Rajaniemi (Book 2 of 3)
    "Tigana" by Guy Gavriel Kay
"The Hydrogen Sonata" by Iain M. Banks
    "Dollhouse: Epitaph One"

And somewhat related, in the computer game sphere:
    "Darksiders I & 2"

Malice by John Gwynne. Hadn't heard of it before, seems okay from the blurb if a bit generic sounding.

A Kindle Paperwhite on which to indulge my SF desires late into the night! :D

Not a surprise, though. The missis was given strict instructions what model to get, and where had it in stock last November.

Treated myself this Christmas to "The Fractal Prince" by Hannu Rajaniemi and "The Towers of Sunset" by L.E. Modessitt Jr. on my new kindle. I love it but dammit this 1 click payment thingy is lethal! Thank god I registered a gift card and not my actual credit card.

Got 'Iron Angel' by Alan Campbell - had picked up his first one 'Scar Night' years ago and really enjoyed it so always meant to get the follow-up when it came out. I rarely buy books for myself so it's been on my Christmas list for ages and just got chosen this year!! :-) Got 'Flu' and 'Fever' - zombies stories from an Irish writer Wayne Simmons, and enjoyed them both (Fever more than Flu) but don't think he's written the third part yet!
