Villa will need a performance after the hammering Chelsea gave them last week, but we should still be good enough to beat them. They are missing a few players as well, so i'll say 2-0 to us.

Bale is due a goal ;)

I think they will put on a big defensive performance and we are looking at another 0-0 bore draw.

Team i would like :Lloris, walker, caulker, daws, vertz, sandro, parker, dembele, bale, lennon, ADE

Although that would be harsh on defoe (thought he was quality against stoke)

    BAE may be available!

    ade looks totally dis interested

can walker please stop taking the corners - he over hits every one of them

    15 corners
    11 chances

We should literally be at least 3 up at this stage...

Villa are playing so negatively it's embarrassing..

It's gonna take a Christmas miracle to get it past the Villa bus!

Yes, we needed to score before they did

    Another, nice

Much better 2nd half performance from us. Better movement, and much better passing. In total control for almost the entire match. We needed the win, and it keeps us up the top of the table.

Naughton was very good at left back today. And as always, Sandro and,Vert were great.

That 4th goal got us 4th place on goal difference.

We really need to work on corners... 15 in the 1st half and only won one or two of those headed attempts

Great result for Spurs and a class hat trick from Bale.

I heard Freund was in a carpark singing with fans after the game, yiddo yiddo!

Glad to see us finally dish out that hammering I was hoping for recently.
I really enjoyed our 2nd half performance. Best 45mins I've seen us play all season.

Great result though in fairness Villa are a pity. Good to see Parker getting a run and Bale was awesome.
We need to get a bit of craft into teh misdfield though and at least one more striker.
    Still so far so good.

Lost all respect for this chancer when he ran away from Roy Keane during a game at WHL. Still as long as AVB wants him round the place we'll have to put up with him.

Metaphorical ran away from him or literally?

Literally. there was a bust near the half way line in a game at the Lane you never saw Freund move so fast.

I'd probably run away from Keane if he was after me.

As far as i'm concerned, if he keeps up that sort of enthusiasm for Spurs, he's alright in my book.

alot of chancers in premiership, need to get better at taking corners, adebeyor quiet ,should have put Defoe through in 1st half,I firmly believe team would be better without him, workrate not good enoughbut would need a big signing, wont happen in Jan.fingers crossed for sneider

Agree that Adebayor (or Defoe for that matter) is not the answer long term but God help us if either gets injured or suspended as we have no other options up front.

Freund loves spurs and gets respect from the squad that's all we should care about. He had a decent 4 years at the club. I think he might have run away from keane not far off the time keane kicked haaland. So yeh.

My brother met him in the U.S during the summer and said he's a headcase. I think he's only there to carry the water, I'd imagine AVB does all the coaching etc ...

Heavily involved with the German youth setup before he came to WHL so maybe Levy/AVB saw some potential. Also seems to be the guy putting the arm around shoulders of the players, he loves Spurs as much as the next man..

Probably the only domestic and champions league winner in our current squad;)
