Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

and thats it. Worst possible day. Newcastle lose, Sunderland win and we lose Anita to a potential injury with Arsenal away up next.

Not a word on here about the entire Newcastle management team surrounding the 4th official...

Get the feck in. Was looking like it wasn't going to be our day and having to stomach "Macca" in commentary was close to unbearable. Loved his silence after United goals, last one was superb. Great day, 7 clear, playing ****e but still the best side in England atm. Weeeeeeeeee

    Newcastle fans understandably not mentioning.
United fans can hardly pipe up about it.

It'll be a quieter thread than the Swansea one that's for sure. Wonder why.

Can we get the old Valencia back? :(

Ah but there was plenty of "neutrals" banging on about Fergie doing it.

Valencia needs dropping. Doesn't know what to do with the ball every single time.

Fergie probably delighted to see them at it to possibly ease the focus on him a bit. But the FA will have to take some action.
Fergie knows it too. He didn't lose the plot. He knew what he was at.

What a brilliant brilliant brilliant end to the game.

This is why we all love football, cause at the end of all the drama....Man Utd win

There wasn't "plenty" there was me.

And if Newcastle did surround the ref (which I didn't see btw as on a different stream) they they too, like Ferguson, should get wrapped in the knuckles.

    A few observations.

Deserved the win overall for the number of chances we created.

Terrible decision by the officials for Newcastle's 2nd. The facts that we won and the decision was against us means it will be quickly forgotten by the media and conspiracy theorists.

De Gea followed up his mistake against Swansea with a similar one for Newcastle's first goal.

We have seriously got to get our defending in order or risk annihilation by Madrid and Ronaldo. Newcastle scored 3 today and hit the woodwork twice. Resting Vidic today was probably a good decision as Ferguson will want to nurse him back to match fitness, but the sooner he is back playing regularly the better.

Speaking of defenders, it's curious that Evans and Evra have both scored in both games against Newcastle this season, especially given that they are not known for their goalscoring exploits.

There was more than you. There was a few comments wondering how he gets away with it and why he wasn't sent to the stands. Read back and you'll see.

Id say there was about 15 people banging on about complaining to the ref and calling for Sir Alex's execution. Why the **** can't refs be accountable anyways?

Don't see what Newcastle had to feel aggrieved with Dean about anyways, the only thing he did for us all game was not sending Valencia off in the 95th minute and he was up their arse all game.

Was listening to talk sport for a while and they were giving de gea an awful slating, was he that bad? Think hes a very good keeper myself but they went as far to say he could be dropped next week.

He made one mistake that gifted Newcastle the goal, other than that he didn't do a thing wrong.

Tis the season of winners from Hernandez.

Fergie was at it along with half the Newcastle coaching staff. It was childish carry on by both sides and there will be fines dished out, no doubt about it.

Utd fans proving again not only are they bad losers, they are even worse winners. Not all of them mind you.

Christballs that was some finish to that game.

    Nufc fan, having cooled off a bit;

    - Man U just about deserved it, created a ton of chances and the sheer force of will to win is quite incredible. They just find a way to win, no matter what.

    - Clumsy tackle from Valencia, not intentional just clumsy. Definitely a second yellow though.

    - Our 2nd was a joke. Shouldn't have been given.

    - Best ive seen Carrick play, he was excellent.

    - Marveaux was immense today. Ran himself into the ground.

    - Lots of positives to take, gut wrenching defeat but it's not as apocalyptic as some people are saying on twitter.

    - Game of the season shoe in. Incredible game of football. I'm just sick of being on the wrong end of all these incredible games.

    - Steve McMananamam is an embarrassment.

It's just an "up yours" to all the muppets that descend on our match thread when things are not going well.
What do you expect when you have to read that bollox every time?
    You reap what you sow.

If newcastle play like that more regularly then they will fly up the table. It's hard to understand how they can be so far down the table when they are capable of performances like that
