Yeah first half was okay, but there is a serious lack of creativity in the side, and bringing on Henderson would hardly help that.

Serious investment is needed.

Yeah it's hard to take. Real goalscoring opportunities stopped at the expense of only a yellow card but what other punishment could be given?

Stoke normally play really defensive football, and the games normally end up 0-0 with Stoke getting a clean sheet, but not scoring. Tonight they've played some good attacking football, but they've looked open at the back and could have conceded more than 1 if Liverpool had someone better than Shelvey. They need to find a balance between the two.

I think those sort of tackles should be a red. Pure deliberate cynical fouls to stop an attack. No attempt to get the ball.
