Won't ring number when I set mu phone to private

    Can someone help me please,

    My phone when set to private (turn number off in settings) doesn't ring other numbers. It just flashes a message that says please check caller identity sending service.
    Its a Nokia Xpress Music, and I'm with Vodafone. This is a recent problem and never happened before when i had my number private.

    And yes i have checked the vodaone support website, so any suggestions??

    Turn the number withheld off and then try dialling the number with #31# before the number and see will it work.

    The #31# will hide your number.

    or *31# will show it if you have set it to withhold the number.
