This is the first time I have ever experienced this. Yesterday morning I woke up dizzy. I had put it down to a long sleep/the xmas season drinking but I am day 2 of the same thing today. I am constantly dizzy. I don't feel unwell or stressed, apart from the dizzyness I feel absolutely fine! No headache/earache or nausia... I never have felt anything like this before feels very bizarre! From looking it up looks like it could possibly be vertigo.. (also said stroke/MS/Pregnancy all 3 I am choosing to ignore!!) Just wondering really if anyone has experienced anything like this or is there anything else it could be? I am not particularly worried, if its the same tomorrow I will go to a doctor- just curious if anyone else has experienced anything similar?

Hi there, I had a similar issue earlier this year. Mine came on suddenly like a major head rush and I thought I was going to pass out. It subsided after a few minutes but after that I was permanently dizzy and light headed after a couple of weeks I went to the doctor who could find nothing wrong but she syringed my ears and prescribed anti vertigo meds which helped but didn't eliminate the light headed feeling completely.
After another few weeks I went to an ENT specialist who ordered a CT scan of my head and sinuses which showed nothing apart from a minor inner ear infection. He did micro suction on my ears and an endoscope exam of the sinuses.
He prescribed antibiotics to clear up the infection and said the dissy feeling would likely resolve itself in time.
Over the next four months the dizziness slowly abated and eventually went away.
I'm fine now but I now suffer from itchy ears and excess ear wax which while annoying is at least manageable.
There are many causes for dizziness and it can be hard to pin down. More than likely it's just an inner ear or sinus problem. But if it persists do go and see your gp.
Best of luck and try not to worry too much it will only make you feel worse.

    hi op,
