Your Kindle wasn't great, didn't like your taste in books.

Wireless router, without it every other gadget is just an expensive paperweight.

Sling box. Proper Sky on the go with place-shifting, so that literally anywhere I have an internet connection, I can watch my Sky the very same as I was sitting in front of my TV at home.

My Harmony 1100 remote control also must get a special mention- if a device can be remote controlled, the harmony can be programmed to control it. Truly a universal remote control in every sense of the phrase.

In fairness they are around longer than 5 years though you are right.

    My personal favourite, the iPad.

Got a Macbook Pro Retina - my first venture into Apple products (apart from an old iPod or two)..
As someone who had a lot of faith in Windows, I must say, OSX is an absolute pleasure.

They look a bit unusual alright.:D

Still, I feel less of an eejit now that I'm no longer spending 60 notes a week on a dirty & potentially dangerous habit.

I can't reccommend them highly enough to any smoker who wants to quit.:)

Which one of the e-cig products are you using? I want to give up in the new year.

My Sony Reader - is probably my favourite invention.

I'm using the Kanger Twist & it's the one most recommended by the folk at the Vaping forum on here.

Order one now & I can gaurantee you won't regret it.

I was smoking for over 20 years & made the switch with no effort whatsoever.

I don't sell these things BTW!

I too love 'clickey pens', however, the OP mentioned "relatively recent gadgets", so it must be that if you have only just acquired a 'clickey pen' and that you are a 'clickey pen' debutant so to speak. If true then I envy you, the sheer joy and exhilaration of 'clicking' furiously on a 'clickey pen' can only be compared to the giddy wonderment of first-time 'fapping'.

    Happy New Year indeed!
