Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Van Persie is on 4 yellows. Today is the last day that a 5th would result in a suspension.

Oh dear. I have RVP as captain. This has to go ahead or I'll be down to 10 players.

Lots of shaking of heads among ground staff at Old Trafford. Overheard one of them say: "The water is just backed up, it's not shifting."

Pfft, sure if the ref calls the game off Fergie will have him banished to league 2 for the rest of his days :p

As much as it would annoy me, and it would royally piss me off, it might not be a bad thing. Can imagine us playing even worse on a sodden pitch which is not conducive to a passing game

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 946 ✭✭✭Predalien

Would have thought the sloped sides at the edge of the pitch would make it easy to drain, must be absolutely torrential.

It wouldn't be bad because we could have Rooney, Kagawa, Rafael and maybe Jones back for the rescheduled game. Players could badly do with a break too.

    But still. hope it's on.

great to see SAF keeping faith in De Gea. Great vote of confidence for him!

Not sure about Welbeck leading the line on his own. Other than that happy with that team

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

Relying on Welbeck to score our goals ? Don't see the point in resting RVP today, he's going to have to come on and bail us out

Putting money on a united comeback with Van Persie scoring

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,309 ✭✭✭Vertigo100

Would have prefered Chico in front of kagawa.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,137 ✭✭✭✭TheDoc

Not suprised at RVP on the bench, can come on if things arnt going well, but considering West Brom have been a bit of a suprised package this year, I'd prefer having RVP starting then subbed off.

I'll never understand when a manager wants to rest a start player, he leaves him on the bench possibly coming to a rescue, instead of starting him and subbing him off when the job is done.
