Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sunderland: Mignolet, Gardner, Kilgallon, O'Shea (c), Cuellar, Larsson, Colback, Johnson, McClean, Sessegnon, Fletcher.

Subs: Campbell, Wickham, McFadden, Vaughan, Ji, Bramble, Westwood

Tottenham: Lloris; Walker, Dawson (c), Caulker, Naughton; Lennon, Sandro, Dembele, Bale; Adebayor, Defoe.

Subs: Freidel, Vertonghen, Huddlestone, Livermore, Parker, Dempsey, Sigurdsson

Extremely tough game for us here coming off a win against Manchester City. Rose can't play against his parent club which is a huge loss.

I'd expect a defeat here but then again I thought the same the other day.

Hopefully it will be a good game anyway.

Mignolet dived bravely, may have done enough to put him off, but should have scored!

    1-0

    O'Shea

A bit against the run of play.

Good work from McClean in the build up. Great delivery from Larsson.

Some head on jos after the goal.

Dreadful from Walker, loses the ball needlessly then stupidly fouls Sessegnon.

Bale congratulating Defoe there on the blatant dive.

I suppose he was a bit jealous with jos already on the score sheet.

Even a donkey would be embarrassed if he controlled the ball as McClean tried to do there...

Unbelievable run from Bale, cracking save from Mignolet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

If we don't buy a decent center midfielder in January I'll cry.

Cracking save, thought Defoe could have hit it first time, kind of half stumbled with the first touch,

Sessegnon is a bit too greedy at times.

Can't believe that people were crying out to have McClean in the Irish team.
    Headless chicken.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,296 ✭✭✭✭citytillidie

Any other player would have been booked for that kick out that bale did

John O'Shea injured, what a ****ing surprise

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

    A back line of:

    Gardner - Cuellar - Bramble - Colback

And a center midfield containing Seb Larsson and James McClean.

Nice to see we can put out the worst back four and central midfield in the Premier League

Lennon's (Spurs 2nd) was a cracker, nutmegged the defender on th edge of the box, beat 2 others and the keeper to the ball to finish in the corner. Lovely goal.

Bale needs a ban for that carry on

Bale, that's bad. Really, really bad. Deserves the booking and I think that's him gone for the next match. Idiot
