Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Guess The Game From The Scorers

Saw this thread on another forum and thought it would be good over here. As this is not a specific forum aimed at one team it might be difficult to put together games that are relevant enough that neutrals will remember, but we don't want to make them too obvious either. So for that reason it might die a quick death but anyway, it's worth a go.

Here's 3 to get us up and running:

    Game 1:

    Windass 30'
    Sinclair 35'
    Moncur 43'
    Beagrie (pen) 45'
    Lawrence 47'
    Lawrence 51'
    Di Canio (pen) 65'
    Cole 70'
    Lampard 83'

    Game 2:

    King 23'
    Young 46'
    McBride 71'
    Helguson 83'
    Francis OG 87'
    Young 89'

    Game 3:

    Bent 11'
    Gray 32'
    Murphy 64'
    Bent 90'

Game 1 was the 5-4 between West ham and Bradford back when 5-4's were not as comman as crazy premiership of today.

2 Watford v Fulham? Don't remember game but going by scorers.

    Yep, spot on with both.

Watford 3-3 Fulham back in 2006.

Game 3 was Charlton against Sunderland. Andrew Gray scored his only goal for Sunderland in that game.

That's Arsenal 7-0 against either Everton or Middlesbrough. I'm fairly sure its Boro but could be wrong.

It wasn't Everton anyway as Van Persie and Bergkamp were involved in those goals.

It was West Ham 3 Charlton 1. Neither Carlton Cole or Bobby Zamora played for Charlton, they were together at West Ham around that time.

    I believe it was

    Arsenal 2-3 Leeds.

I think it kept Leeds up and ruined Arsenal's title chances.

    Ok my Turn:

    Van Nistelrooy Penalty (X2)
