    Hi guys,

When a user clicks the 'Follow Thread' button, a popup appears which allows them to select whether they want to receive email updates and how often:
    • Instant (as it's posted in)
    • Once a day
    • Once a week
    • No email notification

Personally I never want to receive email confirmations, I just check my control panel for updates, so it's a mild inconvenience to have to select the 'No email' option whenever I follow a thread.

It may be just me who does this, but perhaps not. It would probably make sense to have the 'default' option be the one that is used most often. Do you have any data on which is most often selected? I presume you could easily enough run a query to check.

    Anywho, just a thought

    Cheers

Think that's only for when you post in the thread. Im talking about if you manually follow a thread.

Good point, I usually get caught out with that one - my default setting is also no email notification, so I'd love if the manual 'Follow Thread' button auto-aligned with your default setting, and you still have the option of selecting a different notification method, or just hitting OK 'Follow Thread' under the options.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I didn't think there was much point starting a new one when this is here.

I'd like to throw my hat into the ring for this as well. It's especially bad when using the touch site as no option pops up to stop you getting those emails. (I know you can use the link at the bottom to view the desktop site and do it that way, but it's a pain when you're on your phone). It's a change I would love to see.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
