Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,

    I'm looking for help in building a PC that is somewhat future proofed for the needs below. I have been considering going for an Intel i5 3570k for this reason. Any suggestion please, thanks.

    1. What is your budget?
    €500 +/-10%

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer?
    Photo editing (Planning in the future as a hobby)
    3D Modelling (IESve & BIM using as a student)
    HTPC
    Internet

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows?
    Hopefully no. I’m planning to use activation code from my broken laptop.
    (However if this does not work I will see it as an extra on top of the €500)

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer?
    No

    5. Do you need a monitor?
    No

    5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future?
    1920 x 1080, No

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals?
    Wireless Card

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking?
    Yes

    8. How can you pay?
    Credit Card, Debit Card
