Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    If you could choose one gadget to have on a desert island what would you have!?

    I'd have a solar powered gdh - with one item I could ward off invaders, boobytrap my house, cook steaks, make fire -and toast, and keep my hair in order.

    What would you bring?

    I think all desert islands are 110v sockets these days, so you'd have to choose carefully. But you're right, being nice and curly is important, you need to look your best for when you're rescued. I've heard that having a good wave is half the battle when trying to get off a remote island and no self respecting sailor is gonna pick up a girl with lank hair.
