I ordered the show today and the operator told me they have observed a big demand for it.

Who was your order with? Sky or UPC?
so is this from 1am-4am then?

and is the Phoenix crowd more PG heavy or smark heavy?

I'd categorise Pheonix as being smarkish more than kids. But in saying that, I'd say it will be split.

I hope im not alone in hoping that we get a much better rumble overrall than last year, because damn that was a terrible rumble. Comedy spots, jobbers out the ass, announcers getting involved, and a lacklustre winner.

I hope this year has less filler than last year did.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,417 ✭✭✭GRMA

Lads will there be reliable streams? I dont need super quality just ones that wont cut out every half hour.

Cant really afford to order it tbh but i will if I have to

RE: Hell No vs Rhode Scholars.

RS need a win. They've been after Hell No for months but never got a significant win over them. If they don't win tonight, that's really it for the team. Meanwhile, Hell No has run its course imo. I think WWE agree as well, given they did the Anger Management graduation ceremony, which in theory should be the end of the angle.

what annoyed me more was that there before Sheamus at number 22 there was barely anyone with a decent chance in the Rumble.

the spread of viable contenders needs to be more even spread imo.

I really don't think they would give the result away like that, they are just trying to promote the show. They could easily change it to a Punk-Ryback in a non-title match.

Golden Rule of WWE house shows, Card is subject to change.

Probably a bit of a crazy mammy Moment but I let my 7 yr old son go to bed since 6 so he can get up at 1 to watch it!! School is gonna be hard for him in the morning!! he's really hoping for taker to come back but I have a horrible feeling we are all gonna be disappointed and it's that cheese ball Cena Route they will take.

dont let your 7 year old hear you call Cena a cheeseball :p

Ah I think tonight there'll be something to excite everyone for Wrestlemania

Def not. The royal rumble continued to be the main event every year after that happened.

Ah ok. Thought it happened the past couple of years at least. But memory's going with age. :)

I'm just going to stay off here until I see the rumble tomorrow sometime. Only problem is that usually when looking for wrestling shows, spoilers are thrown up.

Orton won't win but for an Each Way bet he is virtually always in the last 3.

Ive actually bet on it :p got Randy and Sheamus on E/W can imagine one if not both will be in last 3

Ah thanks! I hope he appreciates it, but most of all I hope it's worthwhile, last one we stayed up for was Hell in a Cell and it was pretty poor.

If nothing else it means he won't have it spoiled by someone at school.

Was tempted to place a few bets. Was thinking Punk win and Ziggler, Sheamo and Cena each way.

Question is:If Cena was to be eliminated, who could you see doing it, since I don't think it would be Ziggler

I actually think if Cena was to be eliminated, Zigger is a favorite, I mean Cena has beaten so often recently and Zigger has to get some of heat back on him.

I could see Rock eliminating him if he was to enter as well.

Can't see anyone else doing it really, not even Ryback.

    Oh God.

I just realized that tomorrow last year, I was all set to watch the Rumble when I woke up, and my phone rang. Was asked to do a day of sub work in a school.

Not in the classroom 10 minutes when one of the kids who knows I'm a wrestling fan runs up to me and goes "HEY, DID YOU SEE ABOUT SHEAMUS!?!?!" Nearly tore the school down in anger :(

I think it has to be Ziggler to eliminate Cena imo as he needs momentum back

Also Orton or Sheamus to eliminate each other as sets up their future feud then perfectly

    :(

Really? Did the machine say that or someone on the line? Because I got a message telling me offices were closed but I kept trying and hitting numbers and eventually got through to someone. If it's the automated thing saying it then I would have another go.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 381 ✭✭The Showstopper

Logic dictates that Daniel Bryan will win the Rumble, well my logic anyway. It would also make sense for Orton and Sheamus (along with Ryback) to continue their feud with the Shield through to Mania.

    machine.....i'll keep banging buttons

    tech support closed
    billing..closed

I can only imagine I'm not the only one in this bind. Silly loss of revenue on their part

1-3 hours. I usually grab Impact when I wake up at 7am on a Friday morning.

I think I went to sales. Was it number two I wonder? Can't remember. A list of options came up anyway and I got through to some help section and managed to get a person at the other end. This was in the afternoon though. When I had tried the normal route I was getting a machine telling me their offices were closed until Monday. I just did what I could to get another human being on the other end.

It's a really poor way of handling things on their part. I thought they had improved this side of things. Like you say it's a loss of revenue because I'm sure a good few people would be calling tonight. There should be people on the lines until midnight at least.

It's been months since I last downloaded a show, I usually stream it now. But, my brother wants this and I cant remember any of the sites I used to use :o

Seem to have been deleted from XWT and registrations are closed.

How long does it usually take for it to pop up on regular non wrestling specific sites?

It'll be available on kickasstorrents or whatever tomorrow morning some time.

Now the question I have to decide is whether or not to stay up late and watch it live or to download it without seeing results tomorrow, questions questions.

Oh feck I never thought about who could eliminate Cena. Last two to eliminate him were Miz (who wasn't a participant in the rumble) and Edge,

ah no worries, the annoying thing is I did the exact same thing last year :pac:Thanks for your help, I'm sure I'll figure something out with my friend bloodzeed

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,882 ✭✭✭✭Rock Lesnar

I'm hoping for this: clock counting down to entrant number 30, slight pause.... Lesnar walks out and destroys everybody to win the Rumble :)

what will probably happen is Superman Cena will lift at least 5-10 men up on his back, run around the ring and throw them all out.

I reckon cena will win this sadly...

or wwe will do some sort of twist screw job. Cena doesnt win the rumble but wins the right to go to wrestlemania at next month's ppv.

    Interesting Rumble fact time!

Last time there was a winner from Raw was Randy Orton in 2009, 4 years ago!

Surely its time for a challenge on the A-show's championship?

If you have a sky.com account, google royal rumble 2013 sky sports and when you click the link there is a way to order it on that page. You need to insert your email address and it asks to for your username/password I think.

Wouldn't mind a little novelty bet on the rumble match itself. Can anyone recommend me somebody with a chance to win that's also good odds? was thinking Brock value wise but not even sure he's in it.

I'm with Sky and when ordering the show earlier, a Scottish woman was taking me through the steps. When I told her I wanted to order the Royal Rumble, she goes: ''What's that horrible thing? Eh not boxing ... rada rada ehm ... wrestling that's the one.'' I couldn't believe it, the cheek of some people!

Who's Tony Dawson and why have I not heard of him until now? Also apparently tonight's four match card is arguably one of the best in WWE history.
