Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What a run by Lynch, and serious support by Wilson getting down there!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,977 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Finally they make them pay for all the poor drives. Some of the Redskins D look wrecked now. Its been a very hard game for them. Lynch must be the toughest runner in the game I think.

Hard to see the skins go down the field. They need a special teams or int return here

  • Subscribers Posts: 16,592 ✭✭✭✭copacetic

TD Hawks! Some run by Wilson to get the block in

Really impressed with him, puts it all out to get in front there and then just gives he nudge rather than risk a flag for block in the back..

Edit - and eases it in for 2 to put them 7 up. Nice.

    Good conversion

Has to go with Cousins sooner rather then later.

They can't throw the game away hoping that RGIII will get it done on one leg.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,317 ✭✭✭HigginsJ

Finally Seahawks get the lead. Hope they hold on form here.

Have to feel for RGIII but its crazy letting him hobble around. Could hurt him long term

Any franchise QB that can jog into the huddle is fine.

Horror stuff on the replay....wish him all the best for next year. Mother of god hat looked horrific

Absolute joke by Shanahan. Thats all on him. He clearly should not be on the field

    That knee looked nasty. Ugh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Disgusting from the Redskins sideline to be honest. RG3 should have been pulled long ago.

Wow, ok I take back what I said. That comes you get from having Brett Favre as your QB for 2 years

    Hope he's ok

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

That is awful sad to see.

Mike Shanahan has to take the blame.

Rediculous stuff, and the Redskins have paid for it.

I have all the sympathy in the world for RGIII, but none for the Skins. What a terrble decision leaving him in

Nuts stuff. That's crazy having him out there. Regardless of the situation.

I posted it before I had realised he had done something bad to his leg, wouldn't have posted it otherwise. Looks in bad taste now.

Mike Shanahan you are a grade A bollock's, to let such a talented kid out on the the pitch in his condition, you sir are a fúckwit and I have lost any respect I had for you.

Now we have a very sad site to endure, a bad night for football imo. His knee is so week, even the knee brace offered no support or protection.

It'd be different if it was something he could bluff about but if he fooled any of the sideline they shouldn't be anywhere near a position of responsibility.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,317 ✭✭✭HigginsJ

Least he was able to walk off

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,796 ✭✭✭✭Pudsy33

    Thank **** he walked off

Disgraceful from the Skins. It should not have taken this for him to exit this game.

Completely irresponsible by the Redskins coaching team - knee that was so unstable already was going to go. He was playing hurt but not having any real impact since he hurt the knee so why not take him out? Looked pretty nasty bend of the knee in the replay

This is not soccer lads, its a hard game and the coach has to make whatever decision he thinks gives him the best chance to win. If he took RGIII before they went behind he would be castigated for it by the fans. He clearly thought that leaving him in gave them the best chance to win.

Redskins look to be down and out now!

For all the good the Redskins coaches have done all year they may have undone it all by leaving RGIII out there so long. Cousins has already shown he's well able to play. Mind boggling stuff.

He walked off, which tells me there's no long term damage. Hey, it's the playoffs, this is what it's all about, and I'm sure he wanted to be out there too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,317 ✭✭✭HigginsJ

Hawks should have punched that one in. Cousins is no Joe Webb so Skins still have a chance

Still could be a ligament rupture, ACL - you can walk in a straight line after the initial pain, and he looked bad when he went down.

An MRi scan will determine that.

Just seen them switch from one coach to the other there. I would never guess that Carroll is a year older than Shanahan.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

Now we'll see if all the Cousins clamor was justified.

    Looks like QWOP.
