Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Whoever called that timeout should start walking out and never step foot in Seattle.

Falcons backed into that win. They still have earned no respect in my eyes.

49ers will destroy them book it

happy for matty ice and the falcons.

Seattle are going to be a very serious team in the years ahead but I can't help but be happy for Tony G, Ryan, White and co. This can be their lift-off momentivy taking the monkey off their back.

Can't decide if Atlanta are a really clutch team or the complete opposite

I had them off scratch @ 23/30 but I take no joy out of winning that bet. They were a steaming piile of dog turd

Really feel for Pete Carroll with all the great work he has done in Seattle to this point. The Falcons are going to be a different team the next day now that they finally have that playoff win.

Now for the big one as far as I'm concerned.

Well i feel like an idiot - backed seahwaks +8.5 on betfair thinking the only certainty was this was gonna be a close game.

Then laid it off at halftime and took the loss given their inept finish to the first half. If i had just left it running it woulda been a nice win :o

It was clearly Carrol....he walked away knowing he had called it, wasn't even looking at the field, then when he saw Bryant missed he started the whole I didn't call it crap!

Match up on now I've been looking forward to most, with the games we've had I hope this is the icing on the cake rather than a let down.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,369 ✭✭✭UnitedIrishman

No matter who won that, the losing side are/were going to think 'how did we just lose that?'.

Thankfully I haven't had money on any of this weekends playoff games thus far, I might just have had a heart attack.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,299 ✭✭✭spiralism

Actually twitching with anger, i would have won 70 euro only for that bull**** timeout and i could do with the money

They were favourites and you have positive odds on them?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,546 ✭✭✭Masked Man

Nothing like the excitement before a Patriots' playoff game!

How about the awful defensive series from Seattle on that last drive lads? Carved open like a knife through butter three times. Very poor.

He was complaing because Byrant was allowed take a free shot.

Seahawks should of watched the first Panthers vs Falcons game and see how that ended. They really handled that last 30 badly. Why go for a cb blitz rush 3 and cover everything.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Only saw the last few minutes, but what a few minutes of drama.

WTF was the Atlanta coach doing calling the TO with 13 seconds to go! :P

He completly shít the bed, as did the KO guy.

Well done to the Seahawks. Really good season for them.

Epic fail on the kicker ice. Should be banned out of the league because it's ****ing stupid more than anything. You don't see belichick icing cundiff last year, Bryant was always missing that first one.

Bet seattle had wished they'd kicked that first half fg.. Hate all that icing the kicker nonsense as well delighted it backfired.

I vote all 3 of this weeks playoff games into the Classic Games thread :pac::pac:

The officials aren't going to run out and grab the ball, 'freezing' the kicker always allows a free shot so don't see how he could be complaining about that!

Heart still pounding. What a finish. 3 wonderful games so far this weekend.

Still undecided on Wilson as the future QB of the Seahawks. Guys who rely too much on their scrambling eventually get found out. Next season will be crucial for him, imo.

Agreed. He's fun to watch though :)

Still delighted for 88 for getting his first win in the playoffs. If any player ever deserved a Championship shot its him.

Who called timeout for the Seahawks??
    Looked like no one did.

Also at the end of first half, thought they got the snap off. Would have been a touchdown
