There is debate over that. As Brady ran a 5.23 in the Combine and 4.99 in his pro day. Wilfork didn't run the 40 in the combine and ran a 5.08 in his pro day. Pro day times are usually better than combine for some reason.

I think its really down to the pro days coming after the combine and if you were at the combine you have a target to beat.
