New Book on all aspects of Target shooting

    Howdy Guys and Gals,

    New book coming out on target shooting and it looks like a good read for all levels.

    It written by Nancy and Mid Tompkins, whose credentials speak for themselves:

    Nancy Tompkins has been shooting competitively for over 33 years. She has won the National Long Range Championships 4 times, and is the only woman ever to win the National Highpower Championships. She has also been the Wimbledon Cup winner, and a 5-time Leech Cup winner. She has won both team and individual medals in the World Palma Championships, and has been on 6 Palma Teams (as both a shooter and a coach).

    Mid Tompkins has been shooting competitively since 1951. He has won the National Highpower Championships six times, and has won both the Leech and Wimbledon Cups at the National Championships. Mid was the 2005 World F-Class Champion. He has been on 18 Palma Teams, as a shooter, coach, and Team Captain. Mid is also an honorary Vice President of the British NRA.

    Hi fish slapped,

    +1, I’m really looking forward to getting a copy of this, I’ve read the original, but can’t wait to see what’s in the new chapters.

    If you measure the quality of advice given based on competitions won or the life experience of the one giving the advice then you’ll be hard pressed to get a better source of advice than that given in this book.
    Also, without doubt one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet in international shooting.
