Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I saw on the news that the Honour Guard at Dublin Castle today had what seemed to be a different rifle, or at least had a rifle without the usual white strap.

Is their a new ceremonial firearm, or has the general issue one changed?

Same rifle, different armsdrill...maybe the bayonet is throwing you off.

Yeah its the old style armsdrill. Its not too bad, your arm gets a bit of a workout though! The bayonet is a bit tricky too. :)
