    Keep the Router, Away from Windows, Any Tick Walls.. Change the Freq from 2.5Ghz to 5Ghz Change from b/g to N if you can..

    other wise you will need some Access points inside the house

    Get a wireless N modem but make sure all the devices that use it are able to use N otherwise the wifi modem "could" (depending on type) revert to G speed's only. Otherwise try to buy a dual band router
