Some of the 10 day forecasts had predicted 49c next week but the temps were revised down due to the expected rain. Still it isnt the monsoon but thunderstorms generated by the sheer heat of the day....places nearby had 44c today and those areas are where the radar picked up the storms first (and are now blowing my way)

Despite the extreme heat and humidity I LOVE the wet season!!!

A cold night in Castlebar,around the 1 degree mark at the moment with clear skies and a light N'LY breeze. High thin cloud on the increase from the NW.
