    Wind in Cobh, county cork getting very strong gusts. Rain is getting stronger also. No sign of Thunder. There was a brown down there about ten minutes ago. Now getting stronger again. Oh there was just lightning. It's getting bad.

    Power went last night for a few hours just as I was clicking Submit , wasnt too sure if my post went through! . Definitely the windiest night of the last few years overnight , but beautiful morning in Cork now , fresh , clear skies , 7c approx.
