If sturridge scores 3 points and also covers any bonus points that puncheon gets I'm through, my game with cyberspace is basically sturidge and harte for me v puncheon and samba for him, all other players and captain the same!

It's going to be close between myself and ghosttown,im currently winning 28-21,he has Gerrard (c) and Sturridge both have two games to my Jaakeslainen, Davies, Jose Enrique, Henderson, Michu, Fellaini and RVP. We both have Suarez but I have him as captain. Im favourite at this stage but i wouldn't be surprised if Gerrard wins it for him,especially with the form he's in

Down to a shoot out between Gerrard and Suarez for myself and Pokerking. I sold Bale at a 4 point hit in order to bring in Gerrard. Great move......!!
Anyway its captain Gerrard for me v captain Suarez for my opponent. Suarez is going to get booked for diving in the first half of the first match and then get another yellow for dissent at the start of the second half. Banned for game two while Stevie G scores a brace and gets an assist. Nice.

It's very close in the majority of ties. It'll most likely go the distance and people will have to wait until after the Liverpool - Swansea game next week to find out if they get through. Captain choice will be crucial this gameweek.

Ya. Obviously I now regret selling Bale at a hit to get in Gerrard. Need 19 points from Gerrard just to break even there now. But Gerrard is my captain so a big week from him might see me through

He has Suarez, Gerrard and Sturridge.
I have Gerrard and Sturrudge.
He has Suarez captain and I have Gerrard. I'd put myself odds on to go out now.

I had u one behind pre bonus, did u forget to take away your minus 4 for transfer? Azilpwhatever has put you a point ahead now. We have michu Davies n sturridge in common so leaves you with Gerrard(c) against me with Gerrard and suarez(c) so nothing in it at the mo, I need Suarez to do something thats key really.

Things seem to be working in my favour in my tie with Shane. We both have Gerrard and he has Sturridge, while I have Suarez. So unless Sturridge massively outscores Suarez, I should be safe!

Well, I had a good run, best of luck in the Semi's Local Chap.

and thanks to Manual Man and Joe for setting this up and managing the spreadsheet, it gave me great focus the last 2 months.

When we started I was down around 1200 position in boards, and had kinda given up after I thought I played my wildcard in November but forgot to press play and had a -52 week...

But thanks to this, I was in first place on boards quarter 3 (still 6th), and have got back into contention in most my leagues.

Looks like it could be me against you in the final, 28-28 at the moment, we both have bale left but he is my captain. I also could have Demel if he plays so as long as they do nothing stupid I should be through.

I think it's the first time I have met someone higher ranked then me! Just looking at the teams there and it's all about captain choice, should be a tight match.

I think Lemlin is last years champion so someone had better make sure they get the cup back from him before the weekend!!

Very very tight so far as expected, I've got a few points from my defence which is big but it's essentialy going to be Suarez versus bale for the cup. I badly need Suarez to produce in the main ff cup too or I'm out so pressure is on!!

Clichy on Monday night could make or break it too and as a city fan that doesn't sit well with me!

Thanks man, you were unlucky, our teams were very similar and despite my defence doing well id still take yours on paper over mine i just got a bit lucky with mine. Suarez as captain against bale as captain scraped it for me in the end i think.

I dont think i have ever won anything in my life so delighted to have won!!!

Well if I can rope you and Joe in to help my thinking is I could organise a large Champions League style group format cup from gw6 or so.

Start with groups of 4 so everyone gets 3 GWs out of it.

Then knockout stages.
