If you head towards Dungarvan and take the turn of for Mahon Falls (thats a nice walk).

Also about 5 miles before the falls, there is a car park on the left in a wooded area that has a trail up to the corry lake. That's for more experienced people (more effort and safety involved).

I walked that line in 2000, from the Bridge on the opposite side to where the railway station is as far as where the track was lifted.
Is it still possible to do this? Just wondering.

Park at Faithlegge church and walk towards cheekpoint just before the road starts rising take a left turn walk for about 2 kms on lane keeping right untill you see the track through the forest on your rhs walk up here to the top of the Minuan and carry on east to the communication tower .
Left of the tower a path leads downhill through a pine forest and crosss the cheekpoint road to a lane that will lead you onto the whortle walk .
A spectacular walk along the cliff looking into the Suir to the passage road, when you get to the road take a right the the next right and the next right and your car will be 500 metres in front of you.
The whole walk about two hours a bit steep and damp initially but really worth it for the scenery.
