Walked past there half an hour ago and there's no sign of life. The entrance still appears to be boarded up. The sign saying it opens yesterday is still there. Strange.

:D That did cross my mind, so I even looked closely at it and it seemed to look recent (a couple of small flecks of dirt, that's all).

Any chance the sign belongs to the garden centre next door?

Only if had fallen off the garden centre's door or window and some passer-by had put it back up in the wrong place - the Quin's entrance is 5-10 metres away from the garden centre. Anyway, I noticed on Saturday the sign was now gone.
