How can I pay my bill?

I have the AIB 'be' credit card. Interest was just applied to it the other day - only about €3, but I've discovered I can't pay through Internet Banking.
This is a problem, as I'm on a year abroad and can't get to the bank to pay it. What really annoys me is when I was applying for the card I asked if I could pay my bills via the internet and was told 'Yes'. Granted, it IS possible to pay online, but I need a card reader in order to set up the process, which I wasn't told!
Should I simply get someone to pay for me by giro?

Can telephone banking set it up for you?

If not, then yes, if someone has the giro from the bottom of the statement they can pay it for you.
