African Cup of Nations

While people are in the midst of wildcard madness, might be a good idea to have a thread to keep an eye on players likely to be leaving for the African Cup of Nations in January. Luckily for a lot of us, Senegal didn't qualify so Ba and to a lesser extent Cisse stay put! From what I can tell the following are at least eligible to leave:

South Africa: Pienaar (Everton)
Ghana: None
Mali: Maïga (West Ham), Diarra (Fulham), Diakité (QPR)
Zambia: Mayuka (Southampton)
Nigeria: Mikel (Chelsea), Moses (Chelsea), Ameobi (Newcastle), Odemwingie (West Brom)
Tunisia: None
Côte d'Ivoire: Yaya Toure (Man City), Kolo Toure (Man City), Tiote (Newcastle), Koné (Wigan), Gervinho (Arsenal)
Morocco: El Ahmadi (Aston Villa), Assaidi (Liverpool), Taarabt (QPR), Chamakh (Arsenal)
Ethiopia: None
Cape Verde: None
Angola: None
Niger: None
Togo: Adebayor (Spurs)
Congo DR: Mulumbu (West Brom)
Burkina Faso: None
Algeria: None

Well that's two big names gone! I hadn't checked them out too much, just put up all the players that are eligible.

he played the last game. + with mccartney injured long term i'd say o brien and him are good for the full back slots

I thought he just played because Collins was missing. I'm not that familiar with West Ham's setup but I thought he played right back and O'Brien moved in centre to cover Collins. I could be wrong though.
