Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Move movies from laptop to IPad

    Hi I'm looking for some advice on moving my movies from my HP laptop to my new IPad. These movies are ones that I got from a friend and not purchased from iTunes .... I'm an iPad virgin as I got it for Christmas . I travel quiet a lot so would like to be able to bring the these movies with me ans watch them on my IPad .... Is this possible . The format of the movies are .avi's

    You'll need to convert them to MP4 and then add them to your itunes library.

    Thanks ZIggy. I've just downloaded the app and I'm gonna give it a whirl. Qq thou .... How do I get my files to appear in my iTunes in order for me to use the app ?. ? I know that's probably a silly question but I'm just not used to all this apple stuff yet !!

    Brilliant ! I have them all in iTunes now .... Final question ... Now that they are in iTunes ..... How do I watch them on my ipad ??

    sorry but which app do you actually download. I can only see the VLC streamer which I presume is not the same as the VLC player
