Regional work in oz

im heading to oz in a couple weeks on me own and im thinking of getting the regional work out of the way first, im heading for Sydney, where can I see were the regional work is advertised?

Also I wouldnt mind something handy with none of this back breaking fruit picking so anyone any suggestions?

If you've got enough cash to keep you going for a while, you could do wwoofing which qualifies for your second year visa. Its unpaid work but its known to not be as hard as paid farm work. http://www.wwoof.com.au/

Have a good look around the hostels in your area. Employers target backpackers for regional work and post jobs on notice boards.
