So Christmas holidays are almost finished. I was just wondering is it essential to study over the break?? We were told by one teacher to take a complete rest, that the next 5-6 months after would be non-stop. I've basically done nothing but chill out apart from doing my art Christmas paper which I missed and sorting out some folders. I got reasonably good Christmas results and I've done a lot of work in the first 6 months

Well it really depends on yourself, personally as a 6th year I couldn't justify taking the whole break off but I did need a rest. I split the break in half and did nothing school related for a week and took a complete rest. I found myself a lot more focused when I did go back to studying and I know if I did nothing over the break I'd just panic when I did go back to school with the mocks being so close.
It's only for you to judge, if you feel you need time away from it all Christmas break is the only time for it and you shoukld take advantage of that :)
