cso cold callers

anyone else get these cso . qnhs survey people rattling on their doors, had them calling 4 times today and even nye, when will they ever get the msg that im not interested... wouldnt dream of opening the door to strangers btw...
or are they burtons new spook force in disguise...

no not really but did have more cso surveyors knocking around today

Yeah, good equating outa ya there - CSO = Burton's spooks... Because no-one apart from the Dept of Social Protection uses the information collected by the CSO.... :rolleyes:

Like Irish economists (government employed or otherwise), the media, people posting on Boards who actually want to know what they're soapboxing about (present company excepted obviously), potential investors in the country - you're dead right, the cheek of them trying to gather empirical evidence so that any/all of us can actually form a clear picture of the state of the country... sure all they need to do is turn on Joe Duffy for an hour or two and they'll have the whole picture won't they.

I'm like that now. sick of people calling and wanting me to sign up to this that and the other and not taking no for an answer.

I hate doing it (not opening the door that is) because I see it as been rude but sure what can you do.
