The chopping board lad and the sign language app should join forces, ya know when you're trying to explain to the paramedic that you've managed to chop off the top of your finger and it's under their shoe...

Ah no, I wasn't singling out your post on that, just in general, it's all too easy to come on to this thread and say criticise and make fun of everything in site but your posts are genuinely sensible!

    Kind regards,
    me
I do hope that sensible doesn't mean boring :(:D

On behalf of Great Britain, I would like to apologise in advance for Alex Reid on Brendan's show tomorrow night.

He knows not what he does.

Who is he going to propose to this time ? :D

He could have just pulled some random people from the audience and asked for their life story and it would have been more entertaining. Just awful. I thought they would have prepared guests and segments weeks in advance for these shows rather than Friday morning in the RTE canteen, so eh, what'll we do for the late late tonight then?

It was brilliant. One of the best. Some lunatics out there. Actually one that I saw that was even better was Baz's Extreme Worlds when he was in the crocodile farm. That was crazy !

To be fair, that could be very useful in special cases, as you suggested. However, some other children, like my nephews, would have it off their wrists and in a hundred pieces in a few seconds.

I'm sure the poor folk on selling their wares were decent people and fair play to them for getting some air time, but seriously, a whole programme of it?! Tubridy has lost the run of himself.

I agree. It looks so big and bulky too, and very uncomfortable to wear. I can see kids wanting to rip it off, the minute it is put on them, whether they planned to stray or not. Surely in this day and age, where microchips are so small, a smaller version of it could be made that kids would forget about as soon as it is put on them?

I dunno, she looked great for a couple of years around when she was Rose in Doctor Who but most of the rest of the time before and after that she's looked like Zippy from Rainbow in a blonde wig.

That kind of stuff should be on the 7pm deadzone that is Nationwide, not on the country's primetime talk show.

Some legitimately decent non-reality tv-show guests, some decent actors/actresses, decent musicians, some witty repartee and all that which is precisely the opposite of what tubs and rte gives us most of the time.

i have had the Late Late on series link on my UPC digital box for the last 4 or so years as I am often out of a Friday and like to skim through on Saturday afternoon. For the first time ever my UPC box refused to record last night's broadcast. Does the thing have a mind of its own?

It started later than usual (9.45) and finished half an hour earlier, maybe that confused it?

Yes, that's probably it. No ghosts in the machine. Problem solved
